DSC-5234One of my favorite things to do is to write. It is how I make sense of the world and it gives me the chance to learn things very deeply. I love writing on topics relating to the law and my practice, including government liability, civil rights, torts, immunity, open meeting and open records requirements, special education, school law, and general litigation. On these topics, I have written articles for local, state-wide, and national publications, including DRI, National School Board Association, Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc., and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association.

I also enjoy writing on issues outside of law practice and am always open to new opportunities to write about topics relating to family, mindfulness, and finding success as a female professional. For examples of this, please review the Ms. JD tab to see my links to my blog posts for the 2018 Writers in Residence program, where I explored many of these issues for Ms. JD’s audience of primarily female attorneys. You can also read the articles I have written for Mothers Esquire on Above the Law. In addition, I write almost every day in 1300 characters or less on LinkedIn about everything ranging from law practice, legal issues, to mindfulness and life as a mom of unruly girls. My journey on LinkedIn has been somewhat unexpected, but I love all the friends I have met there so please follow, connect, or reach out to me there.
